We've launched our ambitious new commitments for a waste-free world: By 2025, we will reduce virgin plastic in our packaging by 50% and help collect and process more plastic packaging than we sell.

In the Philippines, we have embarked on a number of initiatives under our Zero Waste to Nature (ZWTN) program; these efforts include consumer education; transitioning towards sustainable packaging; plastic recovery and conversion; as well as collaborations with stakeholders who share our vision for a Zero Waste Philippines.

"All Things Hair Refillery" – our hair shampoo and conditioner refilling station and recycling hub was piloted in three high-traffic malls in Metro Manila and we are now collaborating with regulators to roll out refilling guidelines for the rest of the industry.

We are expecting to end 2019 with over 1,000 metric tons of post-consumer flexible plastic waste - all collected from programs such as Surf Misis Walastik; and PureGold's Always Walastik, Always Panalo.

With these and other programs in place, we are building a sustainable loop that will enable a circular economy to thrive in the Philippines and beyond.

To deliver the necessary change at scale everyone must work with others on a complete transformation of how packaging is made, used and disposed.

Governments can help create the right enabling environment, while the industry can innovate. There is a need to move from individual efforts to joint action.

And we take on this challenge through our bold new commitments.
