This effort aligns with the refreshed Unilever sustainability agenda, focusing on climate, nature, plastics and livelihoods, with the aim to deliver real positive impact.
Leading the volunteers in the tree planting activity was Unilever Philippines Chairman & CEO Fredy Ong, and in attendance to express support were representatives from the Gateway Business Park administration and City Environment & Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of General Trias, Cavite.
The culture of ‘sama-sama, tulong-tulong’ (together, helping each other) was brought to life with employees planting a total of 100 trees, symbolizing our commitment to climate action and serving our Filipino consumers for the next 100 years.
