Deodorant or Antiperspirant?

Lots of people think that these two products are the same, but they’re not. Here is how you can decide which to use at different points.

Deodorants

‘De-odor’ means no odor – hence, deodorants are substances that destroy or mask odors. These are products that protect from body odor by stopping sweat or enhancing scent, and may provide additional benefits such as skin lightening and care.

Antiperspirants

Antiperspirants, on the other hand, reduce sweating by controlling the flow of UA sweat thus masking body odor. Contrary to popular belief, antiperspirants do not cause breast cancer.
